The legendary Uptown Girl Joel, 75, who has two kids, Della, 9, and Remy, 6, with his fourth wife Alexis Roderick, 42, appeared happy as he accompanied Swift, 34, backstage before the performance and complimented her on being an inspiration to his girls.

“Our family attended the Taylor Swift concert at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, where the seating record was previously held by Billy Joel and Elton John’s “Face to Face” concert,” the man wrote.

A new era was ushered in at Hard Rock Stadium with Taylor’s second concert there, which broke records.

We were thrilled to take part in this concert that broke records! We got to rejoice with her mother as well.

Honoring someone else’s achievement does not take away from your own. She is illuminating the possibilities for our girls. Moving forward and up.

Joel and his family attended the performance with Taylor’s mother Andrea, 66, and took another adorable picture.

Joel performed his final note of his ten-year residency in July at Madison Square Garden, which was completely sold out.

In addition, the performance was the 150th lifetime performance at the legendary venue, a record for any artist.

The singer’s kids were invited on stage by family friend Jimmy Fallon to assist in the unveiling of a banner commemorating him for his historic act, so it turned out to be a family event.

Joel sang song after hit throughout the evening, including, among many others, Pressure, Allentown, Only The Good Die Young, Piano Man, Scenes From An Italian Restaurant, It’s Still Rock and Roll To Me, and Big Shot.

Along with You May Be Right, he also brought out Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses to perform a cover of the classic Live and Let Die by Paul McCartney and Wings.

Joel performed at MSG once a month starting in January 2014, marking the start of the historic engagement.

Stars like Sting, John Mellencamp, Elvis Costello, Tony Bennett, Paul Simon, and John Fogerty have all graced his stage, along with more contemporary hits like John Mayer, Miley Cyrus, Gavin DeGraw, and Olivia Rodrigo.

Joel’s remarkable musical career commenced in the middle of the 1960s, culminating in the release of his first studio album, Cold Spring Harbor (1971).

However, it didn’t really take off until after the release of his successful follow-up, Piano Man (1973), which reached at number four on the Adult Contemporary singles list and number 25 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Now a well-known figure in the music industry, Joel’s debut album Streetlife Serenade (1974) made him a million seller. However, it was The Stranger (1977) that gave him a real commercial breakthrough and produced the hits Movin’ Out (Anthony’s Song), Just The Way You Are, She’s Always a Woman, The Stranger, and Only The Good Die Young.

Additionally, over the years, songs like Vienna and Scenes From An Italian Restaurant have become mainstays of his career and are regularly played live.

Stranger, Joel’s debut album produced by Phil Ramone, went on to sell over 10 million copies worldwide and peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 list for six weeks.

For his history-making 150th show at the World's Most Famous Arena, Della Joel took center stage for her performance with her father on piano and her sister sitting back in decked out in an identical minidress

Keeping up his momentum, Joel released 52nd Street (1978) the following year. With the help of hits like My Life, Big Shot, Until the Night, and Honesty, the album went on to become Joel’s first number one album of his career.

Joel declared his retirement from composing and producing traditional pop/rock music after releasing 12 studio albums between 1971 and 1993, the majority of which have since gone platinum multiple times.
