Cher honestly thinks her lover is strong. The legendary singer approved of her boo Alexander “A.E.” Edwards’ Cannes battle with Travis Scott after footage surfaced last week.
After the Cannes afterparty brawl between A.E., Scott, and producer Southside, the “Believe” musician took to X over the weekend.
Cher said she was “proud” of Edwards, whom she has been dating since late 2022 after meeting at Paris Fashion Week, and that he ended the brawl.
“I’m Proud of Alexander,” she exclaimed on X Saturday (June 1). “He didn’t start the fight against two men,” He finished, Gotta Love Him.”
Happy to see Cher support A.E. and say everything was well after the event, fans jumped on her replies.
Bless him, isn’t it crap all the junk that gets published? Sad you had to comment. I hope AE and you are okay xxxx,” one person told the 78-year-old.
Scott and A.E. argued behind the DJ booth at Richie Akiva’s Cannes Film Festival afterparty on May 23. It’s unclear what started the fight.
Insiders told Billboard that La Flame returned with producer Southside and things became physical. Security stopped the brief fight after punches.
A.E. cited Future and Metro Boomin’s “GTA” lyrics when TMZ asked Cher about the brawl last week: Like Future says, ‘Whatever I’m with, my b—h with it, too.’ My lady, but lyrics are lyrics.”
