They wouldn’t have to search far for motivation—the Chiefs quarterback has stock in the Kansas City Royals baseball franchise, and close pals Patrick and Brittany Mahomes co-own the women’s soccer side Kansas City Current.
According to the article, they might begin by establishing their own alcohol company before eventually purchasing a team.
One person is quoted as saying: “They are looking at all kinds of opportunities where they could team up, and the liquor business is a really obvious choice. The sky is the limit as far as what they can do together with their combined reach.”
