According to a shocking new rumor, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are thinking about co-owning a sports franchise in the future.
Entering the business side of sports could be one of the strategies the power couple has devised to “grow their bank accounts and influence together,” according to Life and Style.
They wouldn’t have to search far for motivation—the Chiefs quarterback has stock in the Kansas City Royals baseball franchise, and close pals Patrick and Brittany Mahomes co-own the women’s soccer side Kansas City Current.
According to the article, they might begin by establishing their own alcohol company before eventually purchasing a team.
One person is quoted as saying: “They are looking at all kinds of opportunities where they could team up, and the liquor business is a really obvious choice. The sky is the limit as far as what they can do together with their combined reach.”
They truly enjoy mixing drinks and having fun together, so there’s a lot of money to be made and it fits in quite naturally. They aim to get into more than simply the alcohol industry.
“They want to just grow their bank accounts and influence together, so they’re looking to start all kinds of projects together, from a joint production company to co-owning a sports team.”
However, it might be difficult for Swift and Kelce to become owners of an NFL team.
The Chiefs star mentioned the difficulties surrounding Brady’s attempt to purchase a tiny share in the Las Vegas Raiders, which was just recently allowed, when he told his brother Jason back in June on his New Heights podcast that he would like to follow Brady as an NFL commentator.
