Marking the fifth Mahomes Foundation Gala held at the Loews Kansas City Hotel, the 29-year-old quarterback was joined by his wife, who looked as stunning as ever.
In a post shared by the foundation’s official account, 15andmahomies, the NFL star’s better half dazzled in a simple yet elegant gown. Mahomes’ outfit choice highlighted the night she showcased her growing baby bump, as she graced the event wearing a one-shouldered maxi dress.
The 29-year-old former soccer player finished off her look with a high messy bun updo to highlight the detail of her dress.
Interestingly, Mahomes’ dress was from Maygel Coronel. The Negrete dress in Moonlight, which retails for $540 also showcased a dramatic open back detail and a column silhouette that perfectly hugged her baby bump.
The proceeds from the annual foundation gala will benefit various charities that they support, including Lead to Read, Make-A-Wish Foundation and more, according to the foundation. She revealed it was made by designer Marianna Senchina and, while the $716.22 price tag may represent a steep cost for the average consumer, it is actually more on the modest side for the mother-of-two.
Considering Chiefs quarterback Mahomes is due to bring in $203.8million between 2023 and 2026, Mahomes might normally spend a higher amount on her clothes. But perhaps given the charity gala, she felt it was more appropriate to choose a less expensive piece of attire.
Taylor Swift splashes out on outfit
In fact, Brittany’s outfit was whole lot cheaper than Taylor Swift‘s, with the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer making a grand entrance with her boyfriend Travis Kelce at the same gala.
The 34-year-old turned up in a stunning emerald Regina gown, the dress made by designer Maria Lucia Hohan, which cost a cool $2,405.
The gown, aptly named after the gemstone ‘Peridot’ for its unique green hue, featured delicate spaghetti straps, an asymmetrical drape, and a lace-up back.
Given Swift‘s appreciation for high fashion and significant wealth, it is hardly surprising she picked a dress that exuded elegance. However, she did give something back to the community by supplying four tickets to her Eras Tour, which sold for a whopping $80,000.
