Heidi Klum isn’t keeping the key to a successful marriage a secret.
The supermodel recently shared what makes her and husband Tom Kaulitz’s relationship a strong one, even six years after they tied the knot in 2019.
“We’re only six years in, so once I’ve made it past seven then that’s already very much successful,” Klum exclusively told The Post on the “America’s Got Talent” finale red carpet in LA on Tuesday.
Another factor for the 51-year-old, who has a 16-year age gap with the musician, 35, is “having fun together.”
But the most pressing element of all is this: “What is most important is when you don’t have anyone around, you’re in your own house, and it’s just the two of you that you have the best time.”
“All the BS from the outside, all the noise, you don’t hear it anymore,” Klum explained. “It’s just the two of you, and it’s working, and you’re happy. That’s the most important thing.”
Along with giving marriage tips, the “America’s Got Talent” judge gave sound advice on strutting the runway of life with confidence.
“I think you just have to do you,” said Klum. “Whatever that is. If you want to be more quiet, be more quiet. Don’t always follow every big fashion thing. Just because it walks down the runway, I don’t always go head to toe in how it’s wearing; pick something that you love or you don’t. Just be happy in the way you are. What you wear and how you are.”
And while the star is no stranger to seeing talent in others these days, she has some hidden strengths of her own up her sleeve.
“I’m good at making meatballs,” Klum confessed on the carpet. “You know, like Italian meatballs. Little meatballs.”
As she put it, “I like to fry them in a pan because then I can brown them. I put a little mustard in there. I do a little bit of pork and a little beef, and then you mush it together.”
What comes next for the runway vet? “I put a lot of onions in, pepper, salt and mustard. Mustard is the key!” Klum quipped.
Along with a liking for meatballs, the “Project Runway” alum didn’t shy away from admitting she has a sweet tooth — something she has in common with her fellow judge Sofia Vergara.
“Sofia and I eat a lot of cake before the show starts,” Klum confessed about the behind the scenes of “AGT.”
“And if the cake is not on time, we get very cranky. She always has an array and I’m like, ‘Who is all coming?’ But she loves different kinds of cakes, and we eat pretty much cake every week.”
Which proves their friendship is just as playful off-air. In fact, Klum showed her support for Vergara after she lost the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for her work in “Griselda.”
@sofiavergara you are always a winner to me. Love you my sister,” she captioned an Instagram shot of the two on Sept. 18.
