Arrowhead Stadium and Kauffman Stadium share some parking lots in Kansas City, making the trip short for Mahomes.
The Royals have not hosted a playoff game since he was drafted by the Chiefs, last doing so during the 2015 World Series.
Heading into the Chiefs bye week, Brittany apparently has plans to travel, which may put Patrick on daddy duty instead.
‘It’s bye week, so Brittany’s vacationing and me getting to the Royals game, we’ll feud for sure,’ Mahomes said.

The Chiefs did provide in-game updates on the scoreboard during the action against the Saints, with both teams winning on Monday night.
The Royals evened up their American League Division Series against the Yankees 4-2, while the Chiefs won 26-13 over New Orleans.
‘I really wanted to focus on the game and then let look after and maybe get, like, a scoreboard kind of shot of it,’ Mahomes said of the in-stadium updates.
‘And they gave us a couple of those, but like, you could feel that stuff was going good, and there was kind of a lull there, kind of, I think, towards the end of the end of the game.’
‘And I was like, “They’re not showing it, the score, the Yankees came back.” But no, the Royals picked it up, and we got the win. And it was extremely exciting to see that the fan base because obviously we know that the fans at Arrowhead are going to be loud and raucous, and then be really into the game.’
‘But I haven’t got to experience that stadium, in Kauffman, sold-out playoffs and that stuff and so it was cool to see that kind of combine.’
Mahomes has thrown out the first pitch at Royals games in the past and may get to experience his first taste of playoff baseball in Kansas City.
