Aaron Rodgers Takes New Job With Jets, Fulfills That Role: Hits His Team’s Latest Effort

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has found a new way to stay busy with the organization as he continues recovering from his torn Achilles. And it has nothing to do with his players or coaches.

On Thursday, the Jets posted a video of Rodgers working as a ticket sales rep on their X/Twitter page. Rodgers is talking to a customer and tries selling them on buying more tickets, before ultimately offering the fan two free tickets.

If Rodgers decides to stick around in football in his post-playing career, he’s got a bright future as a ticket sales rep if he wants to go that route.

The soon-to-be 40-year-old Rodgers unfortunately suffered a torn Achilles just moments into his Jets debut against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. Though it’s almost always a season-ending injury, Rodgers has voiced confidence that he’ll beat the projected recovery timeline and get back on the field this season.

In fact, the Jets opened up Rodgers’ 21-day practice window on Wednesday. Per The Athletic’s Zack Rosenblatt, Rodgers sees no risk or danger in trying to return this season.

The Jets face awfully slim chances of qualifying for the postseason. At 4-7, and playing in the brutally stacked AFC, they’ll likely have to win out just to have a chance. A loss to the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday would put any realistic postseason hopes to bed.
