NFL fans are ripping Al Michaels over a strange comment he made about the New York Jets against the Cleveland Browns on “Thursday Night Football.”
During the contest in Cleveland, the legendary sports commentator stated that the Jets aren’t featured much on national television. But as noted by Damon Amendolara of the SiriusXM “Mad Dog Sports Radio” program, this is actually the Jets’ sixth prime time game of 2023:
Al Michaels: “The Jets don’t play much on national television.”
Narrator: This season the Jets have played 2 Monday nights, 2 Sunday nights, a Black Friday and this Thursday night.

Football fans didn’t hold back in ripping Michaels for this comment, to say the very least.
Al Michaels: “The Jets don’t play much on national television.”
Narrator: This season the Jets have played 2 Monday nights, 2 Sunday nights, a Black Friday and this Thursday night.

Unfortunately, Rodgers suffered a season-ending torn Achilles in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills. As a result, the Jets haven’t played anything like a team deserving of so many prime time games.
