Patrick Mahomes might be the love of Brittany Mahomes‘ life but he isn’t the one who looks cutest with her as their daughter, Sterling, shone on an Instagram post with her mother.
Sterling Mahomes was born on February 20, 2021 and is the oldest child of two for the pair, as she is set to turn four years old in just over a month making her a year and nine months older than Bronze, born November 28, 2022.
And she looks almost exactly like her mother as the pair posed in the snow, surrounded by nature. They wore the same outfit, save for Brittany Mahomes‘ blue gilet, which consisted of black sweatpants, a black hoodie and black and blue shoes.
Their hair colour is the same and so is their complexion, despite Patrick Mahomes being half-black, showing that Sterling, for the moment, is a mommy’s girl. The series of images was revealed via Instagram on Brittany Mahomes‘ account and it attracted over 88000 likes within 10 hours.
Other snaps saw them standing facing the camera with Sterling looking tiny compared to her mother, like a mini-me, and a third photo showed the youngster curiously investigating the snow along with her parent.
Her father wasn’t spotted but that’s perhaps expected as he and the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to take on the Buffalo Bills in the NFL postseason on January 21 at 18:30 ET.
Mahomes‘ father was a professional baseball player in the MLB and his brothers played college basketball and high-school football so he comes from a family of athletes.
That puts pressure on Bronze and Sterling to live up to that legacy in some capacity, although Patrick Mahomes himself isn’t actually interested in forcing them down that road.
“I think that’s the best thing for me,” he said to Football in America ahead of the birth of his son. “I’m going to help teach my son, my daughter all the fundamentals and whatever they want to learn.
“But at the same time, I want to let it be about them. That’s what my dad did growing up, that’s what my parents did.
“They let it be about me, let me out there and have fun, they didn’t pressure me to do anything. I think that’s why I’m in the position I am today.”
