Dallas Cowboys’ star wide receiver, CeeDee Lamb, voiced his frustration with how the coaching staff limited his involvement during Sunday’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
Lamb had an impressive start to the game, amassing 100 receiving yards and scoring a touchdown in the opening quarter. However, he saw significantly fewer targets in the final three quarters, which left him puzzled.
“I feel like if I’m going to be involved, keep me involved. It was weird, that second and third quarter. Very weird,” Lamb remarked (first reported by On3).
Following Lamb’s hot start, he managed just one catch for the remainder of the game. Head coach Mike McCarthy’s decision raised eyebrows among fans and observers, and it may warrant an explanation if he addresses it with the media this week.
The Cowboys suffered their second consecutive loss on Saturday, bringing their season record to 10-5. They are now gearing up for a game against the Detroit Lions next Saturday.
