Harold R. Kuntz of FOX4 News Kansas City shared a screenshot of the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation Instagram account, which shows that it was hacked and taken over by someone advertising luxury cars in Las Vegas.
The hacker posted from NSFW videos and other inappropriate posts before the account was finally recovered and given back to the rightful owners.
It’s worth noting that the Chiefs play the Las Vegas Raiders this weekend, which has led to some speculating that the hack was perpetrated by a Raiders fan. But this has not been substantiated.
“mahomes going for 400 on monday,” one user declared in response to the hack.
“LV really want that bad karma, huh? Alright then,” wrote another.
“Someone went way too far. A charity organization. At Christmas. Now instead of helping local families and enjoying Christmas with their own families, employees are having to deal with this mess. I really hope there are legal
consequences for the person responsible,” a third wrote.
What an awful thing to do.
