The Kansas City Chiefs played football this Sunday, so the refs were accused of rigging a game. Following last week’s offside controversy and a loss to the Buffalo Bills, Andy Reid’s men were on the other end of the results against the New England Patriots.
The game was an unexpectedly tight one, but KC ended up winning 27-17 after creating some separation in the second half. And, as suggested above, the officiating came under major scrutiny as many calls went their way.
Pats linebacker Matthew Judon, who’s out with an injury at the moment, would take to X to quote a post showing a photoshopped image of Patrick Mahomes kissing a referee.
“I see no lies,” he wrote.
