Danelo Cavalcante, a Pennsylvania serial killer on the run, was captured on Wednesday morning. He escaped prison on the last day of August and was on the run for two weeks. He was wearing a Philadelphia Eagles sweatshirt at the time of his capture.
George Givens, police’s Lt. Col., said that an alarm went off shortly after midnight on Tuesday. An aircraft caught a signal at around 1 a.m., which led them to the capture of Cavalcante in an area surrounded by trees at around 8 a.m. It was speculated that he was a huge fan of the Eagles.
