The Cobb family will soon be welcoming a new Jets fan into the fold.
In a teaser previewing Tuesday’s episode of “Hard Knocks,” new Jets receiver Randall Cobb and his wife, Aiyda, reveal to their two young sons, Cade and Cas, that a fifth member of the “Cobb Mob” is on the way.
“Mommy has a surprise for you,” the 33-year-old Cobb says in the clip.
“You know how we do the Cobb Mob before bed every night? How many hands are normally in?”
When one of the children answers “four,” the former Packers wideout replies, “It’s going to be five hands real soon.”
“There’s going to be another hand in the Cobb Mob,” Cobb teases.
Aiyda then asks, “What do you keep asking me for, in my belly?” to which a future big brother responds, “A baby.”
A kiddo then says, “Mama, I wanna have a baby in my tummy too,” eliciting a chuckle from Cobb.
Aiyda, who has been married to Cobb since 2017, re-shared the clip on her Instagram Stories and exclaimed: “Surprise!”
The exciting news comes just months after Cobb agreed to a one-year deal with the Jets, reuniting him with his friend and former quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.
Cobb was originally selected 64th overall by the Packers in the 2011 NFL Draft.
He played in Green Bay through the 2018 season before signing a one-year deal with the Cowboys.
Cobb joined the Texans in 2020 and was traded back to the Packers a year later.
He had 34 receptions for 417 yards and one touchdown in 13 games last season.
