Niswander indicated through Twitter that he had delivered his son. It’s wonderful to hear, but that’s just the gist of the even bigger news. According to the 29-year-old, his wife’s baby was born on the side of the road in Solon, a suburb of Cleveland.

He quoted a tweet report from the North East Ohio Police and Fire Scanner account that shared:

 A female gave birth in her car, and the baby is awake and crying.

James Hunter Nisawnder was born in Peninsula, Ohio. Niswander attended Woodridge High School, where he set the state record for most consecutive extra points made (111) and the school’s longest field goal made (53 yards).
