Travis Kelce’s Dad Ends Kanye West’s Career With Five

Travis Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce, has taken a bold stand against Kanye West, delivering a sharp five-word message on social media that many believe could end the rapper’s career.

This came after Kanye made crude remarks about Taylor Swift and Travis in his recent lyrics, reigniting past tensions between the pop star and the rapper.

In his post, Ed Kelce simply stated: “Enough is enough. Show respect.” The concise yet powerful statement resonated across social media, with fans applauding Kelce for defending his son and Taylor from Kanye’s ongoing provocations.

Kanye’s history with Taylor dates back to the infamous 2009 VMAs incident, but his latest lyrics have crossed a new line for many, including Kelce’s father. The internet has since exploded with support for the Kelce family and Swift, with many fans calling for an end to Kanye’s disrespectful behavior.

This public confrontation is gaining attention, potentially impacting Kanye’s already controversial career. Fans of both Swift and Kelce have rallied behind Ed’s message, demanding respect for the couple and condemning Kanye’s actions.

Jason and Travis Kelce’s dad, Ed Kelce is a big social media user, but he’s currently locked out from his X account and “they won’t say why,” he says.

In a post on Facebook, Ed shared an article claiming arms dealers in Yemen are selling weapons on X, formerly known as Twitter, and are also doing business in the city of Sanaa, which is a territory held by the Houthis.

He then captioned the post, writing “Arms dealers are free to peddle their wares on X, but I’m banned for life and they won’t say why, just a generic ‘Terms Of Service’ violation.”

Representatives from X did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The next day, Ed elaborated that he posted that story on X because “frankly, I was pissed at Elon [Musk]’s trolls.”

“Let me try and clear something up here. I’m rarely on Facebook or Instagram. I get Google alerts in my email about articles mentioning the boys and remotely post them to Facebook for friends and family to see,” he said. “… I rarely wrote anything on X; I just followed sports reporters.”

“I was active on X/Twitter from September to February, reading others’ posts. Apparently the X Twits believe I posted something contrary to their rules in May or June 2023. Never happened. I’m guessing I was hacked, as the platform isn’t all that secure. My comments when I started this conversation were merely to highlight the hypocrisy of these social media turds.”

Not a stranger to calling things out on social media, back in March Ed slammed Real Housewives of New York alum Bethenny Frankel over comments she made about his son Travis and Taylor Swift.

Frankel broached the topic while doing her makeup in an Instagram video. She claimed Travis, 34, “loves to be the center of attention” and compared him to one of her past ex-boyfriends.

The ex-Bravo star’s rant included her doubt about the longevity of the couple’s relationship. “When you get into real life, and you get into kids and marriage and things like that… It’s not easy. Relationships take work,” she said in the video.

Frankel added, “And it’s hard, because Taylor Swift is certainly a peacock. So there really usually can only be one peacock in a relationship.”

After Ed caught wind of Frankel’s comments, he took to Facebook to ask his followers, “Who TF is this troll?”
